    The term set up is as vast as the many sounds that can be made on a double bass.

    Come and experience what a "user friendly" bass plays like. It is my goal to achieve this for you on your instrument.

     My demands on my personal instruments helped me to start the Set Up Shop. The most important thing that you can do to get the most out of your bass is to get a proper set up. While constantly learning I have developed a wide array of set up options that are offered to clients. The first consultation is free of charge.

     Repairs are done with the instrument's health and client's needs first and foremost. All work is done in a timely manner. I use fresh hide glue for reversible repairs and when appropriate other modern techniques. Many repairs can be done without removing the top. I offer both short term and major restoration services.
