    Welcome to The Set Up Shop

    The Set Up Shop is a double bass shop serving bassists in the greater Boston and New England areas. It is also the Internet home of my activities as a jazz bassist.

    I started the shop thirteen years ago to provide repair and restoration services to the discerning bassist. I included the sales of new and used basses, as well as bass accessories and my philosophy is simple: SOUND is the most important aspect for any musician. At the Set Up Shop SOUND is first and foremost.
